My primary research interests are interactive design, interactive narrative, game design, information design and the history and development of representational media.

Current and recent projects  
Interactive television: The eTV lab creates interactive television prototypes. Partnerships include American Film Institute, Stupid Fun Club, Cartoon Network, PBS, Intel Corporation

Interdisciplinary project for creating active exercises for learning Statics, funded by NSF and used in Georgia Tech engineering courses, see http://intel.gatech.edu

Digital Edition of Casablanca ( with the AFI and Warner Brothers Home Video), a prototype of the AFI Networked Classics Collection, a portal and common information architecture for the study of American film art.
