Please don’t forget the Diversity Champion Awards close next Monday, June 15!
This year's awards will recognize campus accessibility advocates. One faculty member, staffer, student, and unit (e.g., office, department, school, or lab), who advance the principles of accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Georgia Tech community will be recognized at the Diversity Symposium in September.
Recipients of 2020 Diversity Champion Awards will have demonstrated one or more of the following within the past three years:
- Commitment to accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Leadership in building an accessible and inclusive campus community.
- Scholarship or work that advances a culture of accessibility and inclusive excellence at Georgia Tech.
- Organized, conducted, and/or supported programs, events, and activities that promote an understanding of accessibility issues/challenges and solutions at Tech.
