Next week, School of Physics and CoS will have a distinguished visitor,
Dr. Rachel Ivie, Associate Director of the Statistical Research Center 
(SRC) at the American Institute of Physics.

Besides the Physics Colloquium on Monday Oct. 20, there will be three 
events in the CoS on Tuesday, Oct. 21: a lunch 12-1:30 (see below); a 
talk 2-3 and a reception 3-4 (are in the attachment flyer, please feel 
free to post them). You are invited to all three events. Please pass 

The panel will open with observations and comments on success with a range of professional roles, including key administrative responsibilities; roles in and out of the institution, including those personal and those with the public; and roles that cross fields/disciplines.
